Digital Literacy for the Older People
In today’s digital world, technology connects people, services, and opportunities — yet many elderly persons in KARIKA remain left behind. Most lack basic computer and Smartphone skills, leaving them isolated and unable to access essential services such as healthcare information, digital banking, and government support programs.
The Digital Technology Program for the Elderly in KARIKA seeks to bridge this gap by equipping older persons with practical digital skills to communicate, learn, and access online services confidently. By empowering them to participate in the digital space, the program will promote inclusion, independence, and dignity among the elderly — ensuring no one is left behind in the digital world.
Our Mission at KARIKA being to educate, inform and promote policies and practices that promotes the quality of life of older persons. It is on this grounds we are kindly requesting partnership as we know through regular and planned interaction with like-minded people could make the older people have some basic knowledge on how to access for Example, the E-CTIZEN services offered by both the government and private institutions.
